It is a starkly beautiful material that has been used for centuries to make high-end saddles. Made to last, classic cowhide! It is tanned using vegetable substances, which gives it its characteristic earthy and musky smell. The manufacturing process uses hot wax to penetrate its structure, providing flexibility and water resistance.
This also makes it slightly thicker than other types of leather. Over time and with use, SADDLE is subject to scratches, its colour changes shade in the folds and takes on a noble, natural patina. The longer it is used, the more supple and robust it becomes, which translates into comfort for the wearer. This is why cowboys valued their saddles so much, and why they served them reliably for many years.

Towards the setting sun...
Today we can only imagine how important this was for someone who spent many weeks in the saddle during the cattle drive. We can also imagine how wonderful it was to finally reach the destination town, park the horse and head to the local saloon. Shake off the thick layer of dust and order a warm beer with a free meal (common saloon marketing). Meet long-lost bridesmaids, face eye-to-eye with strangers, dance with beautiful playmates, play poker and sing over the last glass of whisky. Maybe still have a little melee (verbal, naturally), then head upstairs and fall asleep - in bed at last. To wash up at the well the next day, jump on the horse again and set off on the long journey home....

Working with SADDLE leather is a great pleasure for us. It is possible to sew many copies of a given model from it, and each will look slightly different. Due to the extraordinary responsiveness of the material to touch, the use of the wallet causes frequent changes in the drawing on the leather, which is simply spectacular and must be seen with your own eyes.
The wallets look and smell unctuous, but they are sturdy companions (including when travelling into the sunset).
